fashion and lifestyle for women in love with who they are (and what they wear)

we have to talk.

a (love) letter from the editor.

Someone once told me that I’m my own Barbie. It took me a long time to realize it was true. I’ve always loved fashion — the way it can show people the colors of your soul, attract the like-minded, and give you much-needed confidence on your blue days. Following a series of unfortunate events, I stuffed that passion deep down inside. I wasn’t my own Barbie at all. I was my own harshest critic.

Then, one day, I realized I didn’t really care if people who didn’t know me thought I was superficial, “too girlie,” or if they made any other nonsensical assumption. I know me, the people I love know me, and that’s all I need. That’s all YOU need. Every woman should be her own Barbie. On The Blush Exchange, I hope to empower you to be the most authentic version of yourself — whatever that looks like for you.
